Here Are The Best Financial Websites.

Your Comments Are Welcome.

Best Financial
I think that the best financial websites should promote discussions about the market and the economy. There are so many "experts" who all have different slants on all things financial, that you really need to see more than one opinion about anything. Beyond that, recommendations about what one should do with his or her money might also be important.

Blogs Or Websites?

There may be some confusion here between Blogs and Websites by the way. Because financial information changes so quickly, blogs are good because they can be updated so fast. However, I'm not talking about blogs here - only websites, so make sure you understand that. (By the way, if a website is set up properly it can update information quickly as well.)

What's Important?

Some way of tracking your money, taxes and investments should be part of your online experience as well. You may have software for that such as Excel but some websites can do that for you too.

Budgeting is another big area for some people and mortgage tracking if you are into buying or selling a house. So you can see how vast this area is. Again, I may have to break this subject up in the future in order to properly search out the best financial sites in each area, but for now, lets go with this general topic.

So, Here They Are!

Here are my picks for best financial websites. If you have any to add, let me know in the form below. (Or if you think some of these should be removed from the list, you can let me know that in the form below as well.)

  1. Mint.com
See all your transactions in one place and do all your budgeting online. It is now owned by Intuit and so now, with more money it will likely get even better.

  2. Yodlee
This site has an up-to-date news center, as well as a money center and online banking solutions. The site itself is a little plain, but the information is good.

  3. Quicken Online
Again, all your accounts are brought together in one place so you can manage your personal finances easily. It also lets you set financial goals to insure that you are saving enough. It has quite a plain home page though!

  4. Wesabe
Lots of tips on this site plus the regular "bank and credit card balances in one place" so that you can manage your personal finances. Community oriented.

  5. Fidelity.com
This is a stock market oriented site. Lots of news and insights as well as suggestions for investing based on where you are in your life.

  6. The Wall Street Journal
Who doesn't know about this? It is probably the best-known financial newspaper in the world. Tons of information, well laid out on this website

  7. Mvelopes
No, that's not a misspelled word. That's their name. This is a money management website that offers a free trial period (so obviously there is a charge for the use of the site). That's probably just as well because on a lot of the "free" sites you get what you pay for!

  8. Agora Financial
This apparently is a lesser-known site that offers everything that the other, better-known sites offer. It is investment oriented. The home page makes it easy to "sniff around".

  9. Hoovers
This is a Dun And Bradstreet company, so you can bet that it is well financed. It has a nice touch on the financial news - video! Lots of "expert" advice to choose from.

  10. Bloomberg
It has all the financial news front and center and given the fact that so much financial advice is based on the news, this is important. Lots of video and a very impressive home page.

  11. Mortgage Marketing Animals
This last one is suggested by "Scott". It's a great looking site and claims to be "the best Marketing website for Loan Originators on the web". Check it out.

So, there you have it - the best financial sites (according to me). If you disagree, then lets hear from you in the box below. I'll give you your own web page to tell me what you think should be changed on this page and others will be able to comment on your suggestions as well.
